OnePlus is hosting an early Black Friday sale event, offering discounts on various products, including the OnePlus Pad 2. For a limited time, enter the code “EARLYBF” at checkout and receive a $200 discount on the tablet. You’ll also receive a free Folio Case 2 (a $40 value) with purchase to keep your device looking new for years. Additionally, you can receive a larger discount through the company’s trade-in program. For example, if you trade in a OnePlus 13 in good condition, you can shave up to $368 off your purchase.

Although the OnePlus Pad 2 is no longer the company’s flagship tablet (that title belongs to the OnePlus Pad 3), it is still well worth recommending.

Despite being an older model, it delivers top-notch performance thanks to Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM. This configuration handles demanding apps, mobile games, and multitasking. OnePlus’ HyperBoost optimizations ensure games run smoothly without stutters, while the large 9,510mAh battery provides all-day longevity. When recharging, the included 67W SuperVOOOC charger gets you back to 100% in under 90 minutes.

Another standout feature is its display. The OnePlus Pad 2 has a crisp 11.61-inch LCD with a resolution of 2,800 x 2,000 pixels, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 900 nits of brightness. In his review, ZDNET contributing writer Max Buondonno praised OnePlus for “calibrating the colors to appear accurate and properly saturated.”

Other notable features include OpenCanvas, which enables running multiple apps in flexible layouts, and integration with OnePlus smartphones, allowing for notification syncing, clipboard sharing, and more.

    How I rated this deal

According to ZDNET’s rating system, I award the base deal a 4/5 editor’s rating. By base, I mean just the $200 discount. However, if you add the value of the gift to the discount, you’ll save a total of $240. Combine everything together, and that score gets bumped up to a perfect 5/5.

I highly recommend taking advantage of this deal. If memory serves, this is the lowest that the OnePlus 2 has ever been. Now is the best time to upgrade from your old Android tablet, but be sure to act fast.

As per OnePlus, this deal ends on November 19.
