Black Friday is still a few weeks away, but that’s not stopping Aussie retailers getting stuck into the deal action – and the official Samsung Black Friday sale has already dropped some early offers on some of the Korean brand’s best products.

Officially kicking off on November 28 and ending with Cyber Monday on December 1, Black Friday is a great time to pick up substantial savings on big-ticket items. It’s also a good opportunity to get your Christmas gift shopping done early and at discounted prices, with plenty of time to spare before the holidays.

Of course, that makes Black Friday one of the best times to upgrade to a new phone too. Many of the best Android phones are often down hundreds from their regular prices – and Samsung is proving that true weeks out from the big day.

Right now, you can get up to AU$2,500 off some of the electronics giant’s best devices. Currently, this includes the all-new Galaxy Tab S11 Ultra and S10 FE tablets, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 foldable phone and one of the best TVs in the Samsung Q90F.

Samsung Australia’s early Black Friday deals lets you save on all kinds of upgrades – whether you’re looking for a new phone, need a better TV to watch The Ashes on, or have decided it’s finally time to grab that versatile tablet you’ve been wanting.

If you already own a Samsung device, you can save an extra 5% by checking out with Samsung Pay. And, if you find the same product for less at a qualifying retailer – up to 14 days after purchasing – the Samsung Price Promise will match the price and refund the difference.

We think the deals above are the current cream of the (early) crop, but Samsung is already discounting a wide range across its official store. If the products above aren’t quite tickling your fancy, check out these other sales below.

How to pick the right Samsung phone for your needs

Once you’ve settled on getting a Samsung, the next big question is price. Samsung’s top-end phones are serious investments, often carrying a price tag higher than even the most expensive iPhone. Make sure you’re not paying a premium for features you’ll never touch.

Think about what you really need. Is the S Pen a must-have? It’s more than a basic stylus – it’s also a handy Bluetooth remote – but it also adds to the cost. What about a foldable phone? While it can replace your tablet, a “fold” will likely cost you more than buying a regular phone and a tablet combined.

After you’ve set a budget, pause before you buy. Samsung phones go on sale relatively frequently. We see great deals every Black Friday, but you can also find trade-in offers, free earbud bundles, and other discounts at various times of the year.

What makes Samsung stand out from other Android phones?

Samsung has a major edge: it makes many of its own best-in-class hardware components, from the sharpest displays and fastest memory to the processors. The company uses these top-tier parts for its own Galaxy phones, which is why their quality is so consistent.

Compared to other Android brands, Samsung also has a clear lead in customer support, offering the most robust service. If you (or life) happen to break your phone, Samsung has a well-established track record and many different options for getting it fixed.
