I let this website pick what I watched on Netflix and I have zero regrets

We’re living in a golden age of entertainment, yet somehow, finding what to watch has turned into one of the week’s most annoying tasks. With so many streaming services overflowing with content, having no specific title in mind often means you end up lost in a sea of thumbnails, scrolling until your snacks run out. That “decision fatigue” people talk about is very real, and it’s quietly killing the fun of watching TV.

So I decided to call for backup and hand over the tough choices to a neutral party: Reelgood Roulette. It’s a free streaming aggregator that pulls together everything you watch across services and, with one click, spins a digital wheel to pick your next movie or show.

Reelgood is a streaming aggregator that unifies content from all your services in one place, with a fun Roulette feature that randomly picks what you should watch next.

The Roulette feature takes decision fatigue out of streaming

Spinning the wheel so you don’t have to scroll

The Roulette feature is the centerpiece of the Reelgood experience (which I’ll get into later) and easily the best remedy for that endless “what should I watch?” loop. It picks a random movie or show for you, but not without a little guidance from you first. A few smart filters help steer the results toward your actual taste. You can narrow titles down by genre, decide between movies or TV shows, and even set a minimum rating. I usually set mine to skip anything below a certain score, which nicely filters out all the throwaway titles that tend to flood streaming libraries.

Once your preferences are locked in, you just hit Spin and wait a moment. A random title pops up with its release year, short description, and handy buttons to add it to your watchlist (Want To See) or mark it as something you’ve already watched (Seen It). If it catches your eye, you can hit “Watch Now,” and Reelgood will open the show or movie directly on your chosen platform. On a smart TV, you might need to open the streaming app yourself and search for the title, but that’s hardly a hassle.

And if the first pick doesn’t grab you, spin again. Reelgood seems to understand that the first suggestion won’t always land, so it encourages you to keep trying until you find something that fits. It’s an approach that ties neatly with how people narrow down content across multiple platforms.

If you use more than one service, you’ll need to create a free Reelgood account to combine them before spinning.

Reelgood aggregates over 300 streaming services in one place

Because nobody has time to hop between six apps

Zooming out from the Roulette feature, Reelgood pulls together content from over 300 streaming services, from the heavy hitters like Netflix, Hulu, Prime Video, HBO, and Disney+ to a surprising number of free platforms you’ve probably never heard of. It comes in handy when you’re trying to search for what to watch across different streaming services. You don’t have to hand over your account info either. Reelgood doesn’t need your Netflix or Hulu login; it just sends you straight to the right app when you hit play. That extra layer of privacy is nice, especially when so many apps love asking for unnecessary permissions.

Even better, Reelgood is entirely free. There are no premium plans, paywalls, or sneaky upgrade buttons hiding anywhere. The interface is refreshingly simple too, without all the clutter and noise that usually comes with this kind of app.

Also, more than just being a search tool, Reelgood kind of reimagines how you keep track of your streaming life. You can build a watchlist, and if something you want isn’t available yet, Reelgood will keep an eye out for you and send an alert when it shows up on a service you actually use. That’s incredibly handy for those times you hear about a great show that’s currently stuck behind some other subscription wall.

The site also has a “New, Coming, Leaving” section that helps you catch stuff before it vanishes from your favorite platforms. We’ve all had that gut-punch moment of realizing something we planned to watch just disappeared overnight, and Reelgood spares you from that heartbreak. The app doesn’t stop there either. It sends notifications when a tracked show drops a new episode or returns for a new season, saving you from juggling multiple apps or trying to remember which platform your favorite series lives on.

And if you ever want to browse by people instead of titles, Reelgood’s got you. The interface highlights popular actors and directors, so you can easily chase down everything your favorite talent has been part of. Plus, it curates smart lists like “Best of Netflix,” “Best of Hulu,” and “Best of Prime Video,” all showcasing the standout stuff on each platform. There’s even a “Best of What’s Free” section for when you want to watch something good without paying a dime.

Freedom looks a lot like clicking “spin”

So yes, I actually let a website choose what I watched on Netflix, and I regret nothing. If you’ve had enough of endless scrolling sessions that end with you giving up entirely, try giving Reelgood’s Roulette a spin. You might remember what it feels like to sit back and enjoy something without overanalyzing the options.
